Ever since I was in middle school and binge watching Bethany Mota room tour videos, I’ve been obsessed with decorating my own room. I even went as far as to make a DIY instagram years ago because I loved crafting new decor for my room. Anyways, I’ve always been known to keep my room very organized and add cute stuff on a budget, so I thought I would share a few of my favorite ways to spice up your room. Especially during quarantine, you have so much time to clean and decorate your room, it’s the perfect time.

This is my favorite section of my room because of all the elements mixing. The 3 examples I’m showcasing in this blog post are hanging up pictures, lights, and greenery. In this corner, I have all 3 of those and I find it looks so good all together.
- PICTURES

This is by far my favorite element of my room. I’ve been decorating my room with pictures ever since I got the app “Groovebook”. It prints and sends a booklet of 100 colored pictures to your house every month for $3.99. I absolutely love it and normally I have extra pictures which is nice because I can add them to a scrapbook or photo album. I have so many pictures in my room because I think it adds such personal touch and it’s totally customizable. There are so many ways to make it unique and your room will never look plain.
2. MIRRORS AND LIGHTS

This sounds kind of conceited, but, I love mirrors. I think they add more definition to a room and especially with twinkle lights added. Plus, the cuter your room is, the cuter your photos will look when you take mirror pics of your outfits ๐
3. GREENERY
Real or fake, greenery is a great touch to any room, no matter the vibe or theme you’re going for. The plant pictured is in fact fake, but I do have a real plant that I water haha. However, I LOVE these fake leaf garlands. I have them scattered all around my room and I think they are the cutest accent to my room. I got them from Urban Outfitters but you can find them from many places, including Shein, which is a more affordable option.
So, if you’re looking for inspiration on how to re-vamp your room, I hope this helped you get started. Decor from Urban Outfitters may be on the pricy side, but there are always ways to make it more affordable. If you need more ideas, my Pinterest has tons of decor and room inspiration that has helped me come up with new ways to spice up my room.
