90’s fashion trends have resurfaced a lot in the last couple of months, maybe even years. Honestly, I don’t think 90’s fashion ever really died. I personally am a huge fan of these trends and am totally here for it. The fashion can be as simple or unique as you want and that’s what I really love about it. In today’s blog post, I styled 3 pieces. The first “athleisure” outfit, a casual but cute outfit, and a more dressy look.
- Athleisure
This “athleisure” look inspired by none other than Cher Horowitz from the iconic 90’s film Clueless was one I just had to include. Biker shorts have made a HUGE comeback recently and I am all for a layering look so honestly, I really love this. Maybe not the best thing to work out in but it’s still super cute.
2. Casual
This was probably my favorite outfit because again, I love layering pieces and this is the outfit I can see myself wearing the most often. I wore jeans from Urban Outfitters and the same white tee with a black cami that I wore for the “athleisure” look. I also added this green flannel because when I was searching Pintrest for some 90’s inspiration, I came across tons of looks with flannels. Of course, I had to add my favorite sunglasses because I always feel so confident in them and this look seemed complete with them on.
3. Fancy
The last look was more of a dressy piece. I layered that same white tee shirt with a granny sweater which I saw was pretty popular for a fancy dinner or Sunday morning church look in the 90’s. I wore the sweater with a plaid black and white skirt, that was super popular in the 90’s as well. I wanted to do something with heels but I didn’t have the classic 90’s square heels so I just added some of other heels I owned.
Overall, I am a super big fan of 90’s fashion and trends and I love all these looks. I think my favorite part about the fashion from this decade is that it’s super simple but you can add things to make it personal to your own style.
