Picking out an outfit can be a nightmare sometimes! I asked you all on Instagram which activities/events you have the most trouble picking an outfit for and a few people mentioned dinner outfits and/or night out looks. Depending on the level of fanciness of the place you’re going to or what exactly you’re doing, the outfit will vary. However, I have styled three different levels of looks for ya!
1. Casual
The first outfit is pretty casual yet still very appropriate for a night on the town. This is perfect for a sit down restaurant with friends or even a first date. Black jeans are one of my favorite articles of clothing to style and this pair has a flare at the end of the pant which I love. For my top, silk/lace tops are super popular for night out looks and I decided to add a bralette for a little volume underneath. Sandals that are cute and comfy to walk around in are the ideal choice of footwear. To accessorize, I went with silver jewelry to match with the silver belt and shoes.
2. Fancy
If you’re attending a lavish party or a fancier restaurant this is the look for you. I’m obsessed with jumpsuits so I think they’re perfect for more elegant events. You could also substitute a jumpsuit for a cocktail dress or little black romper that you can accessorize accordingly. For my look, I paired gold block heels and very minimalistic gold jewelry (small hoops and a dainty necklace) to make sure the accessories weren’t too overwhelming.
3. Mixing Casual & Fancy
This last outfit is a good mix of both laid-back and posh, honestly this is probably something I would wear to a beachy restaurant. The skirt adds to the fancier side while the espadrilles sandals tone it down a little bit. This look is great for a night out because the body suit is perfect for parties (even if you substitute the skirt for a good pair of jeans). I paired statement earrings to give the outfit a little more spice but I made sure to balance it out with a dainty everyday necklace.
Picking out an outfit for any event still may end up in a destroyed closet with your entire wardrobe splattered around your room. Even still, I hope you found a few ideas for the next girls night or first date you go on.
