Maybe it’s just me, but July was a super long month for me…in a good way! At the beginning of the month, I had my sixteenth birthday! I got to celebrate with family and friends (safely) and wrote a blog post about 15 things I learned at 15. I also finally got to spend the week by the beach which was super refreshing! The last thing that made July so special was being able to connect with so many new bloggers. June was about getting settled in and into a consistent posting groove. This month, I really started to connect with new friends and I saw a lot of growth! I made one friend in specific, Grace, who co-wrote a blog post with me. This was by far the coolest experience I’ve had so far within blogging because I got to connect with a fellow blogger who is almost 4,000 miles away. Now that I’ve recapped some of my favorite moments this month, let’s talk about some of my favorite blog posts this month!
ON THE BLOG THIS MONTH
This month I continued with my twice a week posting schedule and came out with so many fun outfits and styling tips for you all. If you are new to my blog and this is the first post you are viewing, I hope these pictures give you a peek at my personal style but also know I enjoy experimenting with new aesthetics/clothes/styles all the time. I realized that a lot of people have trouble spicing up their basic clothing items so I started a series where I showed how to style must have basics. I’ve put out three posts so far in this series: how to style a basic white tee, skirts, and sneakers. If you want to see more of this series, make sure to let me know by sending a DM on Instagram or emailing me! My favorite blog post this month has got to be the three effortlessly edgy outfits. Putting together outfits for this post was so much fun and I got some photos with a professional camera (taken by my bestie girl Allie!!!) which is always a plus.
FAVORITE TV SHOWS:

I’ve been a little stuck with starting new TV shows this month since I’ve been rewatching One Tree Hill, which if you haven’t already, go start that show on Hulu NOW. However, every so often I hit play on How To Get Away With Murder and I always get hooked. I’ve watched Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal which Shonda Rhimes also produced so I figured I should try another show of hers. If you like mystery/drama/romance all in one, I totally recommend investing in this show.
BOOKS

Even though I will forever rave on and on about “The Selection” book series, I’ve got to branch out and start recommending other books lol. I’ve recently started “This is Where it Ends” which is about a school shooting but written in the four different perspectives of four students. The book seriously is a powerful, suspenseful, and emotional read. Even though the book is fictional, it reflects the all too familiar issue of school shootings across the nation.
BEAUTY
Unfortunately I do not have any new products for you all this month because honestly, I’ve been limiting my use of makeup since it’s summer and I’ve had the same skincare routine for a few months now (thank you CeraVe!!!!). Anyways, I do have a few Ulta and Sephora gift cards to spend so if you have any beauty/skincare favorites please let me know!
FAVORITE JULY FITS
These two outfits were my top two favorite outfits of the month by far! Probably because they give that model off duty vibe that I’m just obsessed with. Let me know what your favorite outfits/blog posts were this month!
xoxo, megs
