How To Style: Animal Prints

Animal prints are one of those trends that never really goes away entirely. Each season it reappears yet somehow shows up differently from when our parents and grandparents wore them. People can always find new ways to style their favorite prints which is why this trend becomes more and more popular. If you want to elevate your style but don’t know where to start, animal prints are a fabulous way to spice up your basic outfit. In today’s post, I styled three outfits using cow print, zebra print, and cheetah print!

1.COW PRINT

I had this cow-printed jacket that I wasn’t sure what to do with because it’s not really my personal style, but I always love experimenting with new styles/clothing so this was the perfect time! Since cow print is normally black and white or like mine is, brown and white, a pop of color is an excellent way to add a little something to this outfit. I also paired a black jean skirt to keep the western vibe going. As for accessories, I went with black booties and I didn’t have a cowboy hat, so this one will have to do! I really liked this outfit and although it may not be typically up my ally, it was so much fun to try it out.

2. ZEBRA PRINT

I know my last blog post featured this amazing zebra belt but for the purpose of today’s post, just act like this is the first time you’ve seen it, because it’s SO CUTE. I’m absolutely obsessed with this outfit for quite a few reasons. I love the contrast of the black and white throughout the entire outfit, starting with the black top, the white jeans, and then the black booties. Plus, without the zebra belt this outfit wouldn’t draw as much attention. It also appeals very much to my personal style and a lot of the pieces I’m wearing have been worn so often because of how much I love them!

Here’s an up close of the belt and the focal point of this outfit!

3. CHEETAH PRINT

For the last outfit, I decided to go with cheetah print! This is probably one of the most common animal prints to style that I’ve seen and it has become SUPER popular this summer. I’ve seen cheetah/leopard print on bikinis, skirts, tops, accessories, and anything else you could imagine. For my look, I started with this cheetah print one-piece swimsuit that I instead used as a bodysuit. I took a pair of black jeans and sandals to “complete the outfit”, but we all know an outfit can’t be truly complete without accessories. I kept my jewelry dainty and added a cheetah belt that didn’t match the exact print in the bodysuit but I think it kinda worked!

Animal prints are so fun to work with and style and a super easy way to expand your wardrobe and spice up your style. Which look/print was your favorite? Make sure to leave a like, comment, or subscribe to Miss Megs!
