I’ve had super thin/fine hair my entire life and I usually stick to the same few hairstyles. During school I was always worried about what my hair looked like and it somehow always ended up in a low ponytail (that I don’t look good in lol). So for today’s blog post, I did some research on Pinterest and picked three simple hairstyles to try and recreate.
1. Spicy High Pony

The first thing that caught my eye on Pinterest was this high pony look that reminded me of the iconic Bella Hadid hairstyle. I parted my hair in the middle and took two medium chunks of my hair and kept them aside from the ponytail. Once my hair was up in a pony, all I did was tuck the two chunks of hair behind my ears and it ended up looking so cute in the photos! I don’t usually go for high ponytails because my hairline ends up looking all funky, but the extra hair ended up covering it up!
2. Chic Low Bun

The next hairstyle is on the simpler side but it looks SO professional and chic. I absolutely love low buns, but usually I go for a messier look. All I did was put my hair into a tight low pony and then wrap the remaining hair around with bobby pins. Depending on the length and how thick or thin your hair is, you may have to use more hair ties/bobby pins. This look was seriously so easy and ended up making me look super trendy.
3. Half Up-Half Down

I know a very popular hairstyle is to take two pieces and braid/twist them back into a pony to create a “half up-half down” effect. I decided to spice up this classic look by twisting two pieces and attaching a pearl hair clip to it. Hair accessories are super trendy at the moment so using a hair clip, claw clip, or hair scarf can make any hairstyle cuter.
If you’re like me, doing anything other than just brushing your hair can seem like a hassle, but I loved trying out these Pinterest hairstyles. I hope you found some inspiration and plan on trying and recreating these looks as well.
