As we are transitioning from summer to fall fashion, there are a few trends that can easily be adjusted for fall weather. I think that tennis skirts were one of the most popular trends this summer, so why not bring them into fall as well? In some places it is already starting to get chillier so here are a few ideas for tennis skirt outfits while adjusting into fall.
1. CLASSIC SWEATSHIRT
Starting off strong with the classic, a sweatshirt! I’ve seen TONS of girls wearing tennis skirts with a sweater/sweatshirt or even adding a collared shirt underneath all over my Pinterest. It is super simple yet makes such a statement, especially when you add matching jewelry. It is a very basic and simple look perfect for a comfy fall outfit for online school. Throwing on a lightweight sweatshirt is also great for when the temperature drops.
2. EDGY FALL
You’ve all probably seen the most popular ways to style a tennis skirt, but what about an edgier way? As most of you know, I really like edgy looks and I wasn’t sure how to add that factor into my fall looks. So, I decided to pair the black tennis skirt with a silk tank and a matching flannel to add a bit of fall fashion. Layering is perfect for transition outfits because you can take off/add layers based on the weather.
3. “ATHLETIC” AND FASHIONABLE
The last look is probably my favorite to be honest, I just felt so cute in it! I say “athletic” because even though I used a sports bra, it really isn’t something I would work out in lol. Of course, you can always make this a functional outfit for working out by pairing the skirt with a sports bra you feel comfortable in. I also added a sweater in case it got chilly!
