Monochrome Outfits For Fall

In the beginning of my blogging journey, I messed around with monochrome fashion. They were more spring colors (pinks and greens), but for fall I wanted to involve more autumn colors like browns and yellows. I love creating monochrome looks because when they come together, they’re always the most creative and different; never boring or basic.

1. LIGHT BROWN

After I took these photos, I couldn’t wait to upload them for you all to see, I AM OBSESSED. I am a firm believer that my mood depends on if I like my outfit and let me tell you, I was a happy gal after putting this one on. I loved how even though the browns were just a little different, they look phenomenal after being put into one outfit . I paired these wide-leg khaki pants with a crop top and jacket. These three items were so completely different yet matched together beautifully. For shoes, I added a similar colored pair of booties and I think that pulled the whole look together.

2. YELLOW

These yellow overalls are one of the pieces I showcase on my clothing rack in my room because it screams fall! When I matched a yellow turtleneck underneath, I knew it would be perfect for a monochrome fashion blog post. Gold is a very similar color to yellow so obviously gold jewelry would be the ideal way to accessorize.

3. RED

These plaid plants have been my recent obsession and I cannot stop styling them with fall/winter looks. Although this is a monochrome look, it still does seem like an overwhelming amount of red. I paired the plaid pants with a fun red long sleeve and graphic tee layered over top. I normally wouldn’t go for this much red in an outfit, but I think it works for the purpose of this blog post.

4. BLACK

The final monochrome look is of course black, a classic! I absolutely love the way black monochrome looks I think you can never go wrong with it. I paired a black romper and blazer with my favorite booties and sunglasses obviously.

Monochrome fashion is one of my favorite kinds of styles to mess around with, you can be as creative as you want and no one can judge you as long as you feel confident in your outfit. If you guys like these kinds of looks, let me know and I’ll continue this series!

xoxo, megs
