OCTOBER!! The beginning of fall, one of my favorite seasons. I started to put out more fashion content geared towards cooler temperatures and autumn trends which is so exciting because this is my first fall season with my blog! So, for today’s blog post I am wrapping up this amazing month of October by recapping some of my favorite posts, beauty products, and so much more!
ON THE BLOG THIS MONTH
This month I brought out all the sweaters in my wardrobe and put together my Sweater Collection 2020 and along with it made a YouTube video to narrate it! Making a Youtube channel for Miss Megs is probably my biggest goal at the moment because I think it will add so much more to my content as a whole. My favorite blog posts this month have got to be my Go-To Outfits post, and Basics I’m Wearing Regardless of Trends. I loved these posts because once I hit that publish button, I felt so happy with what I posted and I really didn’t care to worry about if anyone else liked it, or if it got a certain amount of likes, comments, etc. That is probably the best feeling, satisfaction and pride in what you post.
CLOTHING, BEAUTY, ACCESSORY FAVS
I recently purchased these sunglasses in a pack of two on Amazon and I am absolutely obsessed. Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE sunglasses, I think they’re the perfect accessory to take an outfit from a 6 to a 10 instantly. So if you’re on the lookout for a high quality but inexpensive pair of sunglasses, I’d totally suggest going for these!
Earrings are another one of my favorite accessories to mess around with. I’m not the type of gal to wear the same pair over and over again but I also don’t have the money to drop a ton of money on a bunch of new pairs. To compromise, I found this huge pack on Amazon for only $13.99!!
I can’t tell you how many compliments I’ve received wearing this amazing pants that are PERFECT for fall. This brown color works so well in cooler weather and goes with so many different sweaters and other fall tops. I got them in a surprise bundle from Shop Hailey Kaae, and ever since I’ve been wearing them non-stop.
TV/MUSIC FAVS
The show I’ve been binging this month is “Next In Fashion” with two fashion ICONS, Tan France and Alexa Chung. I was hooked on the first episode and now use it as the show I watch when multitasking. It doesn’t require a bunch of attention which is a plus for people like me who can’t focus on one thing for more than a few minutes lol. The designers in this show are phenomenal and so so creative that it just makes you just want to keep watching even if you aren’t a fashion lover.
For those of you who don’t know, I am also a huge lover of music, I’m constantly listening to knew songs, artists, and genres, so I started making monthly playlists over quarantine and just decided to keep going with it. If you’re interested, click the link above!
LOOKING INTO NOVEMBER
Now that I am finished wrapping up October, It’s time to start diving into November. Thanksgiving feels like it’s already here, meaning Christmas is around the corner!
