There was a trend on TikTok recently of people showing their latest obsessions, whether it was minimalistic cakes, the color green, or even your latest celebrity obsession, people were absolutely loving this trend. So, I decided to make a few Pinterest boards of my favorite fashion obsessions and style some outfits with those trends!
1. HEELS WITH SOCKS

This trend isn’t anything new, however I recently fell completely in love with it, especially considering that winter weather was approaching us. I wanted to figure out a way where heels could still be styled into all outfits ranging from dressy to casual.
I didn’t have any of the cute, thin sheer type socks that I saw all over Pinterest so I had to improvise. Honestly, even though the socks look a little bulky, I loved the way this look turned out. The socks matched the turtleneck and when paired with a skirt, the outfit looked classy yet trendy.
2. BLAZERS AND PRINTED PANTS

If you’ve been following for some time, you probably have seen that I love styling blazers. I think they’re so versatile and you can be so creative with them. Another one of my new fashion obsessions are printed pants. Your bland pair of jeans can get pretty boring after wearing them for the third time that week, so why not shake it up a bit? Printed pants are the perfect addition to any basic outfit because they add so much style and personality.
I decided to take two of my newest obsessions and style them in ONE outfit, combining both a blazer and a printed pant. At first, I was little skeptical of this outfit but after looking at it for a bit, it started to grow on me. I think that a wide leg printed pant definitely would look better for this specific outfit but I was using what I had! Overall, I love both a blazer and a printed pant and I can’t wait to keep styling these clothing items.
3. MAXI/MIDI SKIRTS WITH CHUNKY SWEATERS

I’ve been loving midi skirts lately and when I started to notice people styling them often with big chunky sweaters I decided to attempt it myself! For my outfit, I went with a longer maxi dress and layered a big sweater overtop. Whether you pick a dainty silk midi skirt like the third picture or a long midi dress from summer to layer like I did, this combo is absolutely adorable.
To me, this outfit was screaming boho chic and I was loving it. When McKenzie told me to give her a spin to show off the skirt/dress, it was a pure serotonin rush lol. I love this kind of carefree yet cute look and I think the loose clothes really displayed that effortless beauty.
I LOVED planning, executing, and writing this blog post. In all honestly I wasn’t sure if the idea in my head was going to execute well in real life but I think it ended up coming together! I’d love to show you all more of my latest fashion obsessions as they come so if you liked today’s blog post, let me know by leaving a like or comment with your favorite look from today’s post.
xoxo, megs
