2020 has been an absolute whirlwind of events and emotions, and I know I can speak for many when I say I can’t wait for it to be over. Honestly, I always get excited for the New Year, because it kinda feels like a clean slate, ya know? I’ve started a few good habits and created a New Years resolutions list, so hopefully I can keep it going for 2021. Even though big, fancy New Years Eve parties won’t be happening this year, it’s always fun to get ready and dressed up for the occasion. So, today on the blog. I’ll be sharing three spectacular looks full of sparkles.
1. LOOK ONE
I was absolutely dying to find a blog post where I could wear these pants, I mean look at them!! New Years seems like an acceptable occasion to wear these so you can bet I’ll be walking into 2021 with these on. I paired that black bodysuit I wore a few blog posts back because it’s definitely a night out kind of top. To spice it up even more, I added my big white fur coat just to give it that fancy vibe. To accessorize, obviously go big or go home! Some statement earrings are a must, and cat eye sunglasses were just necessary.
2. LOOK TWO
Compared to the first look, this is way more casual, but still appropriate for New Years. If you’d like to dress up a bit, but still be comfy, I’d suggest grabbing a pair of fun pants other than basic jeans. I put on these light blue pants from Urban Outfitters and paired a sparkly cropped long sleeve. For shoes, my baby blue New Balances matched really well so I finished the look with those and another pair of statement earrings.

3. LOOK THREE
The last look is a good mix of fancy and casual. I had this grey Forever21 dress with a bit of sparkle that looked so good with this extra sparkly blazer…I know, a lot of sparkles lol, but it’s NYE! I added sneakers for shoes in order to dress down the look a tad, and overall I love this party look. Even if we can’t go to parties, at least you can look like the star of the show!

Wow, this year has been crazy to say the least. Definitely one for the history books. Hopefully, 2021 will bring some joy and kindness and we’ll start to turn it around. I hope you all have an amazing last week of 2020 and wishing you the best year yet. I’ll see you Thursday for my December Favorites and on Friday with my first blog post of the new year!
xoxo, megs
