STYLE ME SERIES – ANNIE

Today I am back with another styling post in the “STYLE ME SERIES”! In this blog post, I am styling my childhood best friend, Miss Annie Olivia Ryan. Annie’s style is very on trend, full of bright colors, and fun prints. I knew when I walked into her closet I was going to go for a girlie, party attire kind of vibe. For her looks, I used lots of skirts, cropped tops, and sneakers to balance out the dressy and casual.

I’m so excited for you all to see the looks we put together, and if you’d like me to style you next, reach out!

  1. PURPLE POWER

These kinds of tops are super on trend at the moment so I knew I had to style it some way. I absolutely love the color and the zebra print, I think it suits Annie’s personal style so well. When I was brainstorming how to spice up the look with pants, Annie showed me these purple ones that went perfect with the top. I love a good monochromatic moment.

When wearing a tight, cropped top I always tend to go for big statement earrings. I had Annie put on these silver hoops to complete the look.

2. BRIGHT FOR BRUNCH

For the second look, I knew I wanted to use this bright yellow top that I’m obsessed with. Annie mentioned these jeans that she loves, so I paired those with the top. I knew I had to take it up a notch but not too much, so I looked for another layer. I found this dark green. polka dot wrap top that I knew would be perfect. Not only did it add another layer, but it added another color and print.

I love the way a heeled shoe looks with jeans, I think it looks so effortlessly chic, but it’s still casual because of the denim. So, to finish the look, I added these wedges to add some chic and some height.

3. PARTY ANIMAL

I call this look party animal due to this clearly being a night out look, and of course, the zebra print skirt. Annie has a ton of skirts but I picked this one because it happened to look incredible with this sparkly cropped top. Although Annie has a lot of brightly colored pieces in her closet, I wanted to do a black and white look to fit the “night out” vibe.

The look finished with sneakers, to make the look more casual, and a Chanel purse. I think this outfit is right up Annie’s alley yet also a little more “edgy” than what she normally wears.

4. VAN GOGH IN A SKIRT

If “The Starry Night” painting by Van Gogh was painted by a mediocre middle school artist with lots of pink paint, the product would be this skirt. I loved this skirt the second I laid eyes on it, and knew I wouldn’t need a bunch of extra pieces to make it look cute. All I needed was this blue top (that works because there is some of that same blue in the skirt…color theory).

I hope everyone appreciates these pictures because I am obsessed with them. SHE LOOKS SO GOOD! I love this look and I think it fits Annie’s personality and personal style so well.

I will never get bored of styling people, I seriously had so much fun picking out looks that represented Annie. I love these looks and I hope you all do too! STYLE ME SERIES – SOPHIA…..coming soon…..

xoxo, megs
